Weight can be factor when deciding on an industrial vacuum truck. An aluminum tank provides more capacity when placed on a similar chassis compared to a carbon or stainless steel tank. The MAL series service module is designed to maximize the payload capacity for rear single and tandem axle trucks. This eliminates the added cost and maintenance of a lift or tag axle while maintaining a manageable overall length.
The MAL series has trucks large enough to pump four to five average sized septic tanks before dumping and with its open frame there is additional room for storage or jetters. The service module features a PTO driven vacuum system for pumping waste with a four way valve for pressure off loading and unplugging lines. Right angle gear box, woods style coupler and driveline keys help prevent drivetrain damage in the case of an overflow or pump failure. Preset fast idle control protects the pump from un-intentional over speeding, Vacuum and pressure reliefs are installed to prevent tank or pump damage. The automatic pump oiling system found on the standard pump needs no adjusting and the clear poly remote oil reservoir allows for easy viewing of the oil level to help prevent pump damage caused by oil starvation. Tank rests on chassis frame on captive plastic lumber strips. Front consists of spring loaded mounts with 5/8" Grade 8 bolts and lock nuts. Center mount H-style mounting bracket. Rear mounts consist of 3/8" and 1/4" brackets. Brackets are bolted with 5/8" diameter Grade 8 plated bolts, to frame and to tank with 5/8" bolts.
Waste – 6” Sump Style with flange reduced to 4” lever valve with male camlock fitting and cap. Optional – Full 6” with 6” valve, male camlock fitting and cap.
