The SS series is the most durable and longest lasting tank Satellite Vacuum Trucks has available. The brushed stainless steel tanks weigh and cost more than carbon steel or aluminum, but operators who want to keep their truck in service longer insist on stainless steel. SVT’s SS series comes in three standard sizes ranging from 950, 1300, and 1600 gallon tanks with custom sizes available upon request.
Each SS series tank has a stainless steel workstation and hose tray, two stainless steel cabinets and custom to SVT, a lowered workstation on the bigger trucks. All tanks come with internal baffles to prevent sloshing of liquids which could lead to loss of control when stopping or turning. If you’re looking for a tank material that will outlast any other on the market than look no further, stainless steel will outlast any tank on the market. The durability and longevity of these tanks mean they will still be going when you are retiring.
Features:
Pumping System: SS 950
The inline vacuum system features a hot shift PTO with a PTO shaft to drive the vacuum pump which is mounted via a bracket attached to the chassis frame. The PTO, PTO shaft and the pump are all directly inline. This makes for the simple, clean, reliable system. Only available on 4X2 Ford due to space limitations.
The hydraulic vacuum system features a compact, integral PTO/pump combination working in conjunction with a separate hydraulic kit consisting of special platform, 15 gallon reservoir, hydraulic motor coupled to the vacuum pump and relief valve and hoses. This hydraulic kit can be mounted over rear wheel or under the tank skirting.
The service module features a gravity flow chemical system for recharging the restroom with fresh chemical. A Chemical/fresh delivery system with boom and latch assembly for recharging the toilet with the service hose and special wand is optional.
