Overview

Made from high strength carbon steel these tanks are affordable and easy to maintain with a long life expectancy, making the TruckXpress MD series one of the most popular tanks sold by us. All MD series tanks are powder coated and sealed with bed liner that extends halfway up the tank to help ensure the longevity of the tank and eliminate corrosion. They are outfitted with a stainless steel work area with custom drop down sections on our larger tanks to make accessing hoses and tools much easier.

Custom to TruckXpress are the MD 950, 1250, and 1600 gallon tanks. These specific tank sizes were created after years of research and working with people in the field to find out what sizes work best and are most efficient in the field for servicing portable restrooms. The MD 950 leads the way in driver and owner satisfaction with its overall strength, maneuverability and dependability. Each MD tank comes with internal baffles to help eliminate sloshing, resulting in better cornering and stoping.

With TruckXpress’s large selection of chassis to choose from, each model of the MD series has a couple of truck chassis to choose from. Our popular MD 950 comes on either a Ford F-550 or Dodge Ram 5500. The larger MD 1250 and MD 1600 come on the Ford F-750 or the more popular Hino 268. But don’t let those sizes stop you there. We have been building custom trucks and tanks for over 40 years and would be happy to work with you in building your next truck.

Features

The inline vacuum system features a hot shift PTO with a PTO shaft to drive the vacuum pump which is mounted via a bracket attached to the chassis frame. The PTO, PTO shaft and the pump are all directly inline. This makes for the simple, clean, reliable system. Only available on 4X2 Ford due to space limitations.

The hydraulic vacuum system features a compact, integral PTO/pump combination working in conjunction with a separate hydraulic kit consisting of special platform, 15 gallon reservoir, hydraulic motor coupled to the vacuum pump and relief valve and hoses. This hydraulic kit can be mounted over rear wheel or under the tank skirting.

The service module features a gravity flow chemical system for recharging the restroom with fresh chemical. A Chemical/fresh delivery system with boom and latch assembly for recharging the toilet with the service hose and special wand is optional.
